1. Safety Instructions
- The RockDock bicycle stand is designed for durable bicycle storage indoors and outdoors. Follow the guidelines below for safe use and optimal lifespan:
- Check the RockDock for wear, tears, or loose parts before each use.
- Always use the correct tools and follow the official RockDock assembly manual step by step.
- Mount only on a stable, load-bearing surface (wall, wooden post 70x70 mm, minimum 900 mm high, not included).
- Mounting height: 18 cm from the ground to the bottom of the product (see template inside shipping box).
- Use the product only for its intended purpose: parking mountain bikes, road bikes, and gravel bikes with a maximum weight of 28 kg. Maximum lateral load left/right 28 kg
- After assembly, check that the RockDock does not move or tilt under load (max. 28 kg). Check monthly that Torx screws are securely fastened and the hinge point moves freely without play.
- Prevent finger entrapment when folding or lowering the arm, use the finger recesses at the top for this purpose.
- Do not let children play with the stand; it is not a playground device!!
- Use only for mountain bikes, road bikes, or gravel bikes without a rear fender, with at least 27.5” to 29” wheels and tire widths of 25–66 mm.
- Do not use in storms, frost, or on unstable ground.

2. Safety Risks of Incorrect Use
- Note: incorrect assembly (not following the assembly manual) of the RockDock bicycle storage system can lead to:
- Risk of falling or instability of the bicycle.
- Risk of entrapment, especially for playing children.
- Damage to bicycle frame, rims, or paint due to incorrect placement.
- Instability when mounted on an uneven or insufficiently load-bearing wall or post.

3. Recommended Use & Maintenance
- Clean the RockDock bicycle stand regularly with clean tap water.
- Avoid aggressive cleaning agents.
- Keep hinge points clean and free of sand or dust.
- Protect against prolonged exposure above 45°C or extreme freezing cold.
- Periodically lubricate hinge points with silicone spray.

4. Waste Disposal/Recycling
RockDock contains no hazardous substances.
Suitable for recycling as mixed plastic.
Grip bag: compostable.
Shipping packaging: 100% recyclable,
Packaging complies with EU directives 94/62/EC

5. Warranty & Liability
- 2-year warranty on material and manufacturing defects after purchase.
- Valid only with correct assembly and use in accordance with the assembly manual.
- Exclusions: damage due to incorrect assembly, use, or insufficient maintenance.
- Liability: RockDock BV is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from incorrect use or modification of the product.

6. Tested against/Standard reference
- Product designed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 – General Product Safety.
- European CE directives
- DIN 79008 / NEN 8776: not applicable.

1. Declaration of Product Safety Conformity
The manufacturer declares that the RockDock bicycle stand complies with:
- Regulation (EU) 2023/988 – General Product Safety
- Directive 85/374/EEC – Product Liability
- Directive 2001/95/EC – Product Safety
- National consumer protection legislation within the EU

Assessed for:
- Stability and load capacity (up to 28 kg).
- Safe use with correct assembly.
- No risks of entrapment or tilting under normal use.

2. Conditions of Use and Assembly
Valid if:
- Installed according to the official assembly manual.
- Attached to a stable surface.
- Not adapted or modified.
- Regularly maintained.

Use outside these conditions falls outside the responsibility of RockDock BV.

3. Warranty and Liability
- After purchase, 2-year warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
- Warranty is void in case of incorrect assembly or modification of the product.
- RockDock is not liable for consequential damage, injury, or damage due to incorrect use and/or assembly.

4. Safety Monitoring and Reporting Obligation
RockDock has an internal monitoring system for:
- Complaint and incident registration.
- Safety analysis and reporting to NVWA (EU Art. 20 GPSR).
- Recalls if necessary.

Users must report incidents immediately via support@rockdock.bike.

5. Final Provision
This declaration is an integral part of the RockDock Safety Data Sheet version 1.1 (document code RD-VIB-1.1), the General Terms and Conditions, and the assembly manual. Together, these documents form the complete product safety documentation in accordance with the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988.
